create a sim lag

Ever since the new update came out, my create a sim has been very laggy. Whenever I try to ajust the face or body, it lags. Also, when im going to change the hair it takes about two minutes to actually bring up all my hairs. Its the same situation with clothing. Say i want to change her/his shirt. It takes about five minutes to load all the shirts and then i have to wait that amount of time for each piece of clothing on each outfit. It makes it very frustrating This just started happening when i downloaded the new update a little while ago. I even tried playing with no custom content. It still lagged and took a long time to load. I also uninstalled lots of custom content hoping thsat wiuld help. It did not.
