@iremakakca I’m trying to think of a world fixes mod that currently would fix this issue. I’m not sure tho but I’m gonna give it a try!

Hope this gets resolved by EA. I recently got a new Mac and was looking forward to playing Sims 3 for the first time in a year, only to encounter this problem. I even bought the Island expansion pack and ended up requesting a refund within the hour once I discovered this problem, as most of the features I bought the pack for just didn’t work. I’ve found a few other glitches in the 64 version but this is the most annoying.

@kinneybv Congratulations on your new Mac. I'm sorry to disappoint you but i actually got in contact with EA a year ago when I got my Mac and encountered this problem. They pretended it wasn't a known issue and said they will forward my complaint to the department. I gave them a link to this exact post ... A year ago. We're still waiting for a response or a fix.
