This is a joke at this point. I recently bought Island Living without knowledge of this bug and am now unable to refund the pack, even though it is almost completely unusable. When are we going to hear anything useful back from EA regarding this? And if that doesn't happen, why are they not adding a disclaimer on Origin/EA that this glitch exists before people waste their money? So infuriating
I honestly believe that nothing will be done, as The Sims 3 is not the main game being promoted by EA. As a Mac user, I don't feel like this is right. But at the same time, how often are others games being updated to match the new systems? Sad, but true!
Unfortunately, I believe you're right, that EA will never fix the game.
In that case, they should probably stop charging money for it, and have a warning label on the website that says "this game doesn't work on Mac - buy at your own risk".
