I tried playing the sims 3 pets(the base game is 64 bit) but when it clicked on the play icon it says " the game cannot be started
you base game of the sims 3 is not compatible with the current sims 3 expansion pack. update your game via the launcher" but I don't know how to update the game via the launcher. I've updated the base game on origin but it doesn't work. so is there any way to update an expansion pack
@AmySims555 If you're running the 64-bit version of Sims 3, there's nothing to update. Instead, please go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 and delete the file labeled Version.tag.
