Sims 3 Metal and accompanying Late Night expansion pack is installed and updated, but when I try to play, the game claims I need an update for it to work. It takes me back to the launcher, which says the game is up to date. Repeat. I have called Tech Support, who said they sent me an updated Late Night expansion pack and it was ready for me to download. I did so. I'm still having the same problem. I have uninstalled Late Night and tried to run just the updated base game. Same problem.
@Esther_Rosenblat What message are you getting? If it's about the base game being incompatible with a pack, please go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 and delete the file labeled Version.tag.
If you're getting a different error, please post a screenshot.

@Esther_Rosenblat That's not a different message, that's the same message I described. Please delete Version.tag and let me know whether the game works.
