If you see this error:
Please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 and delete Version.tag. You'll need to open the folders manually; the file won't show up in a search.
If this doesn't help, please move your entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, then try to launch the game again.
I just downloaded the sims 3 64-bit base game and the expansion packs that I already owned but when I opened the launcher and clicked play I received an error message (attached below). Do expansion packs work with the 64 bit base game? Do I have to buy them all again? I've tried repairing and updating the game but that didn't help. I also tried chatting with support but they were no help. I am playing on MAC OS Catalina 10.15.4

When I try to play I get this error message "Não foi possível iniciar o jogo

I've already updated, uninstalled and the installed again, tried to update and repair with Origin but still get this error.
@rachelwdg Apple computers run macOS; iOS is the operating system for phones and tablets. I take it you've installed Big Sur?
What happens when you try to play? If you get an error message, please either copy the exact message and post it here, or take a screenshot and attach it to a post.
After downloading new iOs, I've reinstalled the 64BIT version available but I'm unable to run the my game. Please help!

Yes, im updating my computer to big sur right now. I dont know if I have 64-bits or 32-bits. But the game is called ”The Sims 3 (64 bits & metal)
