Same, also now having this issue with the fizzy hair and chunky eyelashes.
Mac Spec:
MacOS Big Sur
Version 11.1
iMac (Retinar 21.4inch, late 2015)
Processor: 3.3GHx Quad-core Intel Core i7
Memory: 16GB 1867 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 1536 MB
with 610GB of 1TB free space on HD
No CC downloaded, reinstalled and rebooted computer and cleaned cashe (the usual fixed) set all game defaults to minimal. Edge Scrolling turned off (doesn't work well with mac toolbar) with NRASS_storyprogression and NRASS_Overwatch installed to minimise gameplay faults.
Latency on the mouse and scroll (no flickering like with other problems i've seen people having but with a slight horizontal latency on the pixels of the whole screen in general)
Another issue noticed is that all store downloads (so CAS items purchased through the EA store) don't have the same previews on their tiles anymore and they're heavily zoomed in.
Hopefully there will be a fix from our lads at EA! Partitioning to windows isn't working for me anymore (shouldn't have removed it to take a gamble on this 64bit in the first place) since the BigSur OS update so this is my last hope!
Cheers!
I'm having the blocky eyelashes and shiny hair issues, but I'm also having the issue where big black pixel squares appear all over my sims in CAS.

@CentraMagik A couple of screenshots of the black pixel squares would be helpful. You can put your game in windowed mode (cmd-enter) and then use cmd-shift-4 to capture the section of screen you want to show.
Please also attach your deviceconfig.log to a post; it's in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3. (You'll need to manually open the folders; the file won't show up in a search.) You can delete your user and computer names, about 25 lines down, but there's nothing else in that file that can identify you.

I don't know how to find the config log, but I am currently on a MacBook Air (I don't know what year), and am running High Sierra.

Still the same issues and EA haven't been active since the first update. I think they've abandoned us lol

@CentraMagik I described how to find the deviceconfig.log here:

And that’s will be useful for that problem? I have the same, with the hair.
- 5 years ago@puzzlezaddict It won’t allow me to delete my user and computer name. How do i do it?

@CheeringPenguins Open the file with TextEdit: right-click and select "Open With."
