I'm new to playing sims 3 and I play on a macbook pro, specifically macOS 15.6.1... And I immediately noticed this issue. I thought maybe it was my graphics 😿 i really hope EA resolves this soon, it's so irritating

I’m still having issues with this too! I thought maybe my game was broken or some cc glitch but we need EA to fix this bug cause my lots look ugly i want to use the terrain plants!

Hello !
There is a small workaround: apply your paint using the floors to properly outline (since you won’t be able to see what you’re doing), then apply some paint on another part of your lot and undo the action. The terrain should reappear fully. Repeat the action if it didn’t work the first time. Otherwise, if you are in Town Edit mode, switch back to the town view, but you probably already know that.

i too am having this problem
- tiabrewer882 years agoNot applicable@puzzlezaddict That's better than nothing. I wish there was a modder who could figure out a fix so that we wouldn't have to wish on EA.
@AilaLilae Nope, no fix at this time. I have heard that when you go to Map View or Edit Town, then back to the lot in question, the terrain paint often does appear where it was painted, but that's obviously not an ideal situation.

Has anyone been able to find a fix yet?
