I bought the sims 3 through the EA app a few days ago and I'm about to just give up, I've tried pausing syncing with OneDrive, completely removing OneDrive, disabling my antivirus, listing the sims 3 game bin as an exception for my antivirus, trying a GPU add-on that supports my OS, setting up a mods folder with the error trap mod, repairing my game, uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing cache, lowering all graphics settings, and nothing will work. The farthest I've been able to get is with a fresh reinstall along with the error trap mod, I can make a new save, create a household, play for like 20 minutes, save and quit, and when I try and open the save again or start a new save, I get the "serious error", I'm open to any advice you guys got 🙏
