I am a new iMac user of a 2010 model. I've had past obsessions with a few sims games for the gaming consoles and personal electronic devices. I was instructed by my neice that the Sims 3 would be more my speed if I wanted a Sims game for my new old computer. Now I'm getting the message that no game disk found when I try to run my newly purchased and installed (Jan 2016) software, Sims 3 plus University Life, on my iMac. I've been looking for a solution on various web sources and have come to the conclusion that the problem is not unheard of, but the threads and content of FAQs haven't been updated in a good long while. So, I'm not getting the answer to my particular dated question. Is the problem with the software, the 2010 model iMac or just general operator ignorance: The Apple platform is a bit foreign to me. Reaching out for help before I take this game (that I really want to play!!!) back.
Thanks for any and all instruction
