    Uninstall your most recent EP then download and reinstall the digital version from Origin. Instructions here.

I am using a Mac and this error comes up after installing the Sims 3 Base game. "we are unable to verify that your disc is a valid copy of the sims 3". I have installed the game using a disc! Please Help!
