So then wouldn't a good preventive measure is to have say simport upload the sims, calculate it and revert it to a sim it's files uses to make sure it's not files that has been altered. Then send the sim to be downloaded?
Do you get what i mean. Like the player will click they wish to simport with you, upload a sim. The client side than uploads the cc sim to simport, simport than makes a file copy of that sim reading it and changing it to a default sim if it has cc. Than send it to the players pc. Once it is done and the copy is released back to simport (the player 2 client side will than delete it once it's been recieved), the simport than reads the rewards and updates the cc sim that never left the game and releases the cc sim back into the game. Deleting the copied sims totally.
Could not this measure prevent any cc from getting through totally?
I have to re-read that in a moment but the solution to this is pretty simple: Delete the sim from the saved sim folder after your done simporting. It's no cc you'll find in your launcher, it's ON the Sims, so removing the sim, rids you of the CC but I will test that now to be sure.
