Custom Sim passed to me through Simport!
So I am dealing with another technical malfunction with Showtime (can't interact with one of my sims anymore) and I decide to try to start a new game to see if this is happening with new games as well...

I don't have showtime but I'm watching this thread. I mean what happened to the reassurances that nothing is downloaded into your computer via Simport. Didn't they make an effort to say you wouldn't have a copy of your friend's sim in the game but now everyone is saying any simported sim is found in the bins once simported.
I'm a player that stays clear of anything meshed, clothing that's not EA content, skins, hair etc...
This bothers me. I can see how this could spread like wildfire. People thinking they are cc free and then unwittingly spread cc to others because simport did actually sneak it in. I mean not every player stays current on whats in their game and where it came from.
