So if the CC attached to the game is a default replacements, will it replace the original EA file?
I believe you need a special mod to use non-default custom skin, yes? Though there are plenty of skin that is made to replace EA's default skin. What will happen to my game if something like that comes through?
ETA: You're not supposed to get CC through the exchange? I thought it was the norm that any CC will go through the exchange.
Lol they always tell us that you aren't suppose to be able to get cc in the exchange, the uploaded sims if it has cc is suppose to revert back to default sim hair, skins, etc. However not all of it does. Sometime corrupted cc gets through to borking many players games.
That was why many players were like if it's as safe as the exchange lol, it was a bad example to use. It seems the only cc that is getting through is cc that alters the default as i suspected. If that is the case as i said it's darn imposibble with the way simport reads to prevent it. Unless they prevent cc being uploaded at all. Which puts them in quite the problem right now.
LOL! Really?! I hope no one listens to EA regarding the Exchange. I purposefully download from the Exchange, sometimes, to get the CC Hair/Clothing... I ALWAYS have to use Custard to check it. And, 8 times out of 10, there's corrupted CC in the sim file (aka horse body; or that pink shirt full-outfit that's available for all ages; or those thigh high night/day boots that mess up the sim babies).
