Started reading this thread this morning before going to work. I'm back home and have now finished and all I can say is why am I not surprised. I'm a self proclaimed CC addict so I have no problem with CC per se but I like to check every piece of CC that goes into my game with Custard or Delphy's Dashboard. As such, I have a major problem with this. After all the reassurances that CC would not be able to pass through, this happens. Which begs the question, are their claims that simport is safe and secure woven from the same whole cloth?
And to anyone who did get unwanted CC in their games, you might want to check for the evil doll file just to be safe. That thing can attach and hide on anything.
It's good that EA is aware of the issue and is working on a fix but I don't appreciate having to pay $40-$50 for the luxury of being their second round of beta-testers.
^This. This new round of issues for the new EP isn't the same as a few graphics glitches or a malfunctioning rabbithole. It's a potentially harmful situation that should have never been allowed to get past the developers and IMO inexcusable. CC should have been tested, retested and tested about a million other times to make sure that it could not get past but I guess the devs just didn't want to dirty their hands with other people's work. Hopefully the crack ers and hackers haven't gotten wind of this yet...they'd LOVE to exploit this issue.
Wow.....c r a c k e r is a bad word?
