downloaded households from exchange

Hey, where do my downloaded households from exchange show up??

ive checked premade sims in cas, Households section from edit town mode, and honestly im a bit lost, it says installed in launcher, and any other time ive downloaded content from exchange ive never had issues finding anything, although i am pretty sure this is the first time ive downloaded an actual household and not individual sims from there so im probably just not looking in the right place.

  • 17SLAY  The household didn't show up for me either.  It installed successfully, according to the launcher, but there's no file in Library and nothing in the in-game bin.

It's possible the file is too broken to use, but one more thing you can try is using Delphy's Multi Extractor to break up the Sims3Pack into .package files.  It's not always clear which one is the household itself, as opposed to attached custom content, but you can try the different files you get.  The household itself would need to go into Library inside the Sims 3 folder.

  • 17SLAY  A full household you download, as opposed to a sim template, creates a file in Library.  The household itself should show up in the in-game bin in Edit Town, in the same place as the households you've created.

It's possible this particular household is broken in some way though.  If you link it, I  can try installing it into my own game to see whether it works as it should.
