downloading gallery items with CAP

Does sims 3 gallery items which contain CAP transfer when downloaded? 

[Mind its Create A Pattern item, not an in game re-colour]

I would like to upload some builds created using CAP, but Im wondering if the build will transfer with the CAP when a person downloads and installs in game.

Do I have to upload the singular Patterns thru the launcher to the sims 3 site, thus enable people to download the pattern or will the pattern transfer with the build?

I hope the pattern transfers with the build, because uploading single pattern items is a pita.

    @Eeekey  I'm actually not sure, but if you want to upload something as a test, I can download it and see what it looks like in-game.  Feel free to send me a link.
