EA App detects Sims 3 is running when it's not

I recently switched from Origin to the EA app and now I've had this issue where I will exit TS3 as normal and the app will still detect it as running. It won't let me exit the EA app and it shows the...

@cursdgamerchild Have you checked your 'Hidden Icons' tab on your PC? I only ask that as I had a similar situation the other day when I had played Bejeweled and had went to hit the 'Quit' button. Instead of it closing out the game all the way, it was sent down to the Hidden Icons tab which meant that is was still running in the background.
