EA Support is * trash.
I need help. My Sims 3 game will not launch. My laptop is BRAND NEW. There is NOTHING wrong with it. I played Sims 3 THIS MORNING and around 1pm I had EA Support merge my two accounts. Now it won’t launch. EA can’t seem to figure out [Removed - CM] my issue considering I’ve been fighting them for TEN [Removed - CM] hours. Has anyone else had this problem & have y’all been able to fix it?
@clemsongal96 Several people have had this problem after getting their accounts merged. Best guess is that support mistakenly deactivates the base game code, or else doesn't transfer it over properly. The only fix is to go back to support and have them fix the problem. A couple of the affected people have had the issue resolved after a second (or third, or fourth) chat with support.
