Error (-5005 : 0x80070002) has occured while running the setup

I installed the sims 3 back when I first bought it. I hardly ever play it now, so I decided I would uninstall it. I went to my control panel and hit the change/unistall programs button. I scrolled down to the sims 3 and clicked uninstall. Then the InstallShield Wizard, "An Error (-5005 : 0x80070002) has occured while running the setup. Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications. If the error still occurs, please contact your vendor: Electronic Arts (http://www.TheSims3.com)." message pops up. I don't know what to do about that, help?
