I recently switched to Windows 10 after I had installed Sims 3 along with the Pets and supernatural expansion packs. When I decided to play again it wouldn't load. So I uninstalled it and reinstalled...

    @InfernalJackal Did you upgrade to win 10 or is Win 10 a clean install? Go to control panel - programs and features - turn windows features on or off - turn on .net framework 3.5. reboot computer - check game.

I upgraded from Windows 8 and haven't played it since. I'll try that solution.
