So whenever i try to save in sims 3 on steam, I get error 16. This is in new and old saves.
I have heard that this is being caused by the new Windows 11 update.
Do we know if anyone is working on a fix for this? Be it fans, steam or ea?
I've tried a few fixes at this point with no success and I'm really getting frustrated.
I just want to play the sims!
I cannot revert or "go back" to the previous version of windows.
I have tried deleting the bad saves in the save folders and using save as.
I have uninstalled one drive and allowed the game through window's security and my antivirus. (to the best of my ability at least)
Uninstalling and reinstalling have no effect. I have plenty of space on my drive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
@Sabillad I've merged your post with another thread about the same issue. Please try the suggestions in the second post.
If those don't help, please let me know what antivirus you use.
