So I've been playing The Sims 3 since I was young. And usually I don't get save errors until recently. I have Sims 3 on Steam. Mostly the infamous save errors. One of them only being code error 16. It even happening to my new saves after I bought late night expansion.
Is there any fixes or ways to avoid error 16 on the steam version of sims 3?
Icekirisaki The current cause of Error Code 16, at least most of the time, is OneDrive locking up the user folder. So the workaround is to get rid of OneDrive, or at least keep it from syncing your Sims 3 data. Please see the first post of this thread for a different but related error:
