If this is the Seasons patch what's the point of getting the game?
Cause it's only the patch. You won't get any weather, festivals or Seasons content without the EP. This only makes the game EP ready not installing the actual EP
Okay but I still don't see the point. I mean I'm still going to get Seasons but really why now - why not rather when they actually release Seasons?
Can't tell you why they already decided to release it. Many of us are not so happy about it cause it's coming at the worst possible time. We all thought we have two more weeks to look after other stuff.
You don't get the goddies, but you do get all the bugs. EA sucks furiosly. I have spent much time trying to figure out what was wrong with my game only to find out it's not my installation......it's EA's intrusive buggy code. I paid money for this exercise in irritation? I guess that makes me the stupid one.
My suggestion is, yes post your game issues here, but hammer EA with complaints. All these people can do is help with obvious things like outdated driver issues, or specs not up to the game. The best way to get them to fix it fast is to complain, the more complaints they get the more wide spread they know the problems are. I bought Sims 3, Ambitions and Late Night via download, but then I had to keep reinstalling and burning through my install limit, when if their stuff worked better we wouldn't have to keep installing to begin with. So I went and purchased the DVDs. So I'm into Sims 3 by about 175 USD and that doesn't include the loft content and Seasons I just bought the download of...EA needs to do better and we the customers need to push and prod them to do better. We've spent enough on their stuff, we have the right to bug them till they fix the bugs 😉
