[FAQ] Current Patch - 1.67 - Manual links and more

PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR MODS BEFORE UPDATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Make sure to backup the folder in documents\electronicarts\thesims3 to a safe place. That's all your user data like your download...

I have been having the same problem over and over with the new patch. It will not download anything for my sims game. Also ever so often I have to reinstall the game. I've not even had the game for 2 weeks. I've tried manally downloading it but it still won't download at all. Anyone have any idea on how to get this sorted?
