[FAQ] Current Patch - 1.67 - Manual links and more

PLEASE TAKE OUT YOUR MODS BEFORE UPDATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    Make sure to backup the folder in documents\electronicarts\thesims3 to a safe place. That's all your user data like your download...

I patched with my mods and CC in place, because it's never caused any issues before, so I didn't think about it.  Now I can't play, even when I take my mods away.  Is there any way to fix that, or am I screwed?
