Seems like this needs bumping once more cause there's another 10357 threads on invalid serial codes.
Again: If you buy the game at Origin, it autoregisters.
While the game auto registers from Origin (so long as its listed in the MyGames Library), I think some people are having an issue with the game asking for their registration information in order to play online and have some of the PortSim features a link to their MyPage stuff (and not to mention their 1000 free points). Some are having the in-game login issues where it points them to New User Registration and then starts feeding them information that their game codes are incorrect or invalid. From what I can tell with my very limited knowledge of inner system workings between Sims3 account management and Origin there seems to be a divide and somehow the merger of the information is not coming together (only my speculation).
