No, I don't have any means. I'm sure they are aware of the Lag problems. They do check the official forums and there's enough threads about those issues.
The AnswerHQ is about users helping out users but if you want to get the attention of a dev, the official forums, twitter or facebook are probably the best way to go. It doesn't guarantee you an answer but at least they read most of it.
EA is very bad at communicating with people so we users never know what gets through to them and what doesn't. The problem with lags and crashes is that there are so many hardware varieties out there. They can't test with all of them. A lot of time, it really is insufficient hardware (but people usually don't wanna hear that). It also is a fact that this game is inefficiently programmed but I don't think it's something they CAN change without completely starting over.
It also depends on the world you are playing. Some are better than others, big maps need a stronger computer than small ones and the more detail they have, the faster you get lags in the game.
I really don't know what else to tell you guys. I have no insight in the code but I am a software dev myself and I know that with a game as complex as this, you can't just fix stuff that has gone wrong from the beginning.
