I got Sims3 through Origin at the beginning of Jan and have played it fine (a few freezes here and there) until yesterday when I installed Late Night (from disk). Now I can be playing the game fine and then out of nowhere it freezes for ages, starts playing again for a couple of seconds, and freezes. This continues until I end up having to end the process in Task Manager as I can't even bring up the cheat window. Resetsim worked before I installed Late Night but now it doesn't have any effect.
This started after playing the game for a couple of hours uninterrupted after the initial install.
EA customer service appears to be non-existant(?). I've been trying to live chat them all day and haven't been connected. Can't find an email address other than one regarding Privacy. So annoying, they aren't cheap games and there is no obvious fix anywhere.
Note: I have no custom contect installed and run the game without custom content allowed. Playing on a new laptop.
Please help!
