Hope this bumps the posting.
I am having problems right off the bat... I am running a brand new computer (very brand new, out of the box from Future Shop yesterday. Specs above what's necessary: windows 8, AMD dual core 3.20 GHz, radeon 4520 HD graphics, 6 GB ram and 750 GB hard drive) which I installed Sims 3 core plus world adventures, late night, pets, generations, and ambitions. The only installed content is EA Sims 3 world content from Sunlit Tides which I purchased from the Sims 3 store. The game lags every 5-10 seconds, I have thus far reduced the graphics to low for the trees, light and shadows, distance to medium, houses loaded in distance to 2 and Sim detail to medium as well as texture detail.
Somewhat incriminating if any hackers are present, but, for the sake of solutions: I've even uninstalled any and all running processes related to firewall and antivirus on my computer in the hopes that I will see an increase in resources necessary to play the gay. I have uninstalled running processes to devote to the game..
What else can I do?

Also post as much detail about the issue as possible. Is this a game you played before ? Is it happening in all worlds ? Is it happening in a brand new game, and what else comes to mind as possibly important.
