leyyyyyz There might be something wrong with the Electronic Arts folder you preserved, but perhaps only with the folder itself. So try moving the Sims 3 folder inside to the new Electronic Arts folder the game creates, after deleting the new, mostly-empty Sims 3 folder inside there.
thelastpoet It is completely unnecessary to uninstall the game to fix this issue, and it likely won't help either unless the OP also deletes their current data. And they shouldn't have to do so.
I did what you said and it worked!! thank you so so much! I did re-add the mods because otherwise my dolls weren't coming up & the game was glitching. So now I have to find a way to safely remove them. Thanks again
