Firefly Collector Skill Challenge

Hello, I'm playing The Sims 3 and have The Sims 3: Showtime and have collected all the firefly types that are in the game, but the problem is that even though the game knows I have collected 100% of the firefly types the challenge - Firefly Collector isn't highlighted to say I have completed it.

I have spoken to EA about this issue and they gave me a link to this site so that I can ask other players how they resolved this problem as they don't know how or can't edit a game that saves locally.
