My game is fully patched, I have all the packs, most of the store and a smattering of non-ea CC, mostly clothes and make up, with a few hiders.
The family I have been playing started in Midnight Hollow, and were moved to Sunset Valley just before I started playing Into The Future.
The only travelling they have done is to the future - one member, only, and he has been to all three variants.
The problem started while he was in dystopia, where he was hanging about and not doing anything much following a meteor strike. I tried sending him home, and got the empty lot problem. I then installed Overwatch, Master Controller and Traveler to try and fix it, but to no avail.
I tried starting a new game in SV, and it really kicked in! Moving in bursts, clock not moving, you know the deal.
Tried a vanilla game on a new folder, and it seemed to be fine
As per this thread, I have uninstalled the Tree of Prosperity, and so far it seems to have been sorted. I wasn't using it in any lot that I am aware of, or had it in any inventories.

Clarification needed, to aid in troubleshooting this issue:
1. Is this game lag experienced only in OL, only in the "home world," or in both OL and the "home world"? Which world did it happen in, first?
Home World and OL, noticed first in OL (Dystopia) but also in a home world with no travel

2. Have you checked for routing errors in the world? Stuck sims? Stuck animals in home world? Multiplying spawners? Abandoned cars/vehicles? Too many NPCs spawning at certain places in the world? Any other causes for lag noted in any of Crinrict's stickied threads? (It is important to eliminate all known causes for lag, before we can accurately pinpoint a new cause for lag never seen before ITF.)
That's why I installed Overwatch, and I didn't notice it pick up anything out of the ordinary.

3. Is this happening in factory reset games or is it only in pre-played saves from earlier expansions?
Both new hoods and existing ones in my game with downloads were affected, the vanilla one was fine.

4. Are you playing with any EA cheats turned on?
I wasn't originally, but turned TCE on to drag up moods as a result of the issue. May have had move objects on and some point.

5. Did you visit Utopia? Did you visit Dystopia?
Both, but it seemed to start in Dystopia.

6. Is the same approximate amount of time needed for causing the corruption/lag similar in every game played, or does the amount of time needed to cause the corruption/lag directly relate to the number of time jumps? In other words, can you "cause" the problem by doing several consecutive time jumps, with only one day or night between jumps?
Can't really answer that, as I didn't count the time between jumps. It cropped up fairly quickly in non-travel hoods, within 24 hours?

7. Are you spending most of your play time in the "home world" or in OL?
Travel hood was maybe 50/50

8. Can you move the lagging save to a factory reset game, and still experience the lag? (This would eliminate lag caused by anything other than the save, itself.)
New folder and vanilla hood doesn't seem to have the problem, although I didn't play it that long.

9. Please let us know your computer specs, which OS, and etc -- all the things Crinrict asks in her bug thread.
Windows 7 home premium, with SP1 installed. AMD Phenom II X4 850 Processor, 3.3GHz, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeod HD 5450 Graphics card, 512Mb. Happy to post a dxdiag if you'd prefer.

I think those of you with this problem should do some strong testing until you can get repeatable data. A real bug or real routing issues in a world can, with a great deal of sleuthing, be repeated reliably. Otherwise, since it takes so long to get results, something like this may never be found.

Hi guys,
Few follow up questions,
Do you by chance know what your Sim was trying to do when it froze?
Was it in your home world or had you been traveling a lot?
Was it with a save game you've had for a while?
Thanks!
Covered above, I think, but various every day actions - meteor storm in Dystopia was the first I really noticed any issue, both, and both.
Uninstalling the tree has helped, but hopefully this will go towards finding a full solution.
