For those having trouble registering humble bundle codes

Hey guys, I just got off the phone with a very pleasant english speaking lady who went ahead and registered some new codes for me, allowing the DLC and expansion packs along with the base game to be downloaded from the client.  Instead of waiting for hours upon hours for a game advisor in their online chat, do a call back if you're able to.  All you have to do is provide them with your issue you have, your account email + security question, and the code you got from the humble bundle.  It took all of 5 minutes for this process to happen, and I am now a very happy customer who has re gained some faith in EA 🙂

If you CANNOT do a call back, unfortunately there is only one course of action available to you at this point, and that's to sit in an online chat queue, only to be told something completely irrelevant to your issue.  Good luck to those who are able to have a call back option available to them! :D

Would she be able to fix that? Or anyone?

    Thanks!

When you are going to go into the online chat, there is an option to the right of that to have them call you back.  There is no number for you to call, as they will call you with a number that you provide them when you click the call back button.  If this option is not available then I'm afraid online chat is the best I can offer at this point.

You can find both at this link https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ask

Just fill in your issue, click Find Solutions, then you'll need to click The Sims 3 in the first pulldown menu the option for Code in the second pulldown menu and PC in the third.  Once you do that, click Find Solutions again then there will be a button labeled I Still Need Help.  That is where you will find the options to either be in an online chat, or have them call you, which takes little more than 10 minutes for them to do so.  Of course, they will only call back during regular business hours, so if you go now, the button may either not be available, or they will call you in the morning

Did you add the sims 3 to Origin by yourself without any problems?

The bill for the call would be higher than buying a new humble bundle for me...

If you're not fluent in english, the only thing I can think of for you to do is wait in the queue or wait for EA to sort out the issue automatically.

In regards to the bill for the call, I don't believe they call back outside of the US.  Even if they did, the call would not be charged to you, it's all on EA because they call YOU, not you call THEM.

  • Thank you good sir, i owe you one 😕mileyvery-happy: Guys, this is the way to go. I just got finished with my call and I too got a friendy lady to assist me. You tell them your problem and they will give you new codes to use on the base gam and the two additional DLC. Why this hasn't been the official plan of action by EA baffles me but then again the fact that this even happend is mind blowing as well. Happy gaming guys 😕mileyhappy:

Give me some XP and that's all you need to owe me.  I just want everyone to know that there is more than online chat available to most people.

Just bumping this in hopes for a sticky.  People in the US need to know there is more than the online chat available to them during business hours.  Online chat will be overloaded for days on end, and people will become more and more aggravated because they think this is the only option available.  No offense, but both times I used the online chat I was either ignored and never answered, or I was receiving cut and paste responses that had nothing to do with my problem.  A simple click of a button and the input of my cell phone number was all it took to get things sorted out.  People would be a lot less aggravated if both options are presented instead of saying "Online chat is the only way, but since others are experiencing problems, youll have to wait in line".  I'm one of those people who don't like being told I have to wait, especially for something as simple as a game purchase not appearing in my account.  Good luck for anyone else who reads this, and just know that there is more than one option to solve your issue if you live in the US.
