Did you get any help at thesims3.com forum ? Could you post a link of your thread there ? I really don't want to go through stuff others have already tried with you.

Here is the Link to my Forum post, and yes i already did try everything except installing directx, gonna install it now and look again, i will report back in a few minutes.

Just tried the DirectX Fix, it didn't work either.
