Gardening Skill opportunity in Dragon Valley can't be completed.

I recently installed Dragon Valley and started a new game as a gardener. I have Ambitions and World Adventures installed too. My first gardening opportunity that was offered was "A Bag of Produce." I had the required amount of produce in my inventory but, as soon as I accepted the opportunity, it cleared itself and I got the error message "... can not complete the opportunity A Bag of Produce because one of the targets is no longer available."

So far, I've tried the following steps to figure out what's wrong:

  • Deleted all cache files.
  • Disabled all CC (except for Master Controller.)
  • Used Master Controller to reset everything.
  • Moved the rabbit holes to the backs of their lots.
  • Replaced the Restaurant rabbit hole with something else, saved, then changed it back.
  • Bulldozed the combined diner/grocery store and replaced with 2 separate rabbit holes at different locations.
  • Backed up my saved game, deleted the sims3 folder in my docs, restarted and put my saves back.
  • Going back to an earlier saved game.
  • Tried doing a little dance and having a cup of tea.
  • Tested by copying my family to the bin and opening it in Riverview, the opportunity works fine there so it's clearly an issue with Dragon Valley.
  • Started a new game in Dragon Valley, copied my family over and it didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated! I know I don't need to do these opportunities but it's a shame that I can't. I've spent a couple of days researching online to try to find out the issue and I've seen that others have had it too.

Thanks,
Aelurosa

I mentioned the work thing as I thought it would be relevant to the diner/restaurant rabbit holes freaking out on me. I've used Dashboard before, but without any mods or CC I don't think it's going to do much for me!

edit: Dashboard is showing clean, both with and without mods

Thanks,  Rum. I appreciate your help with this.  I'm about ready to just give up, it's not a major issue but trying to fix this sort of thing sucks the fun out of the game for me!

I tried on last thing, copying the restaurant from sunset Valley over, but that didn't work out either.

I ended up moving from Dragon Valley to Sunset Valley to do the gardening opportunities, and then moved back when they were done. I'm now waiting on more wierdness from moving town. My husband suggested a better solution of copying the family from DV to the bin, and then pasting them to SV to avoid the moving town oddities. We shall see how it goes! It's not a fix, but I guess as a work around it will have to do.

I appreciate your help with this, Rum, it's greatly appreciated!
