if your using vsync sounds like it is not working. you should be at 60. I would try what crin said uninstalling and reinstalling graphics drivers.
This issue with your graphics is only happening with the sims?
So far I only have Simcity and Sims 3 on my computer, when I install starcraft 2 and Spore we will see how those run.
in general be careful about deleting pemade houses because It may cause routing errors in the game. One never knows what could happen. I like the wolfe house just needed to be changed to my liking inside. Since the issue happened with your old card and you are now working with a new one, It could just be your card went bad. Test it out on other games, and not EA ones and see what happens.
So far starcraft 2 seems to be running great on all max settings.
good that your card is working. Now why is it not working with the sims? is vsync working on starcraft?
