- I had an issue with parent's grounding their children
At first when the teen misbehaved, a pop-up would appear saying the parents had grounded them, but they would not get a moodlet and could leave the lot when they pleased without getting told off.
The grounding system then started to work, with the moodlets appearing and not being able to leave the home lot. The teen sneaked out anyway... leading to the big problem.
The sim in question is now stuck sneaking. They cannot walk or run anywhere. They just sneak.
I was not playing with any mods installed, just a few package files of cc (mostly CAS stuff). I tried resetsim, to no avail.
The sim has now grown up into a YA and still sneaks everywhere!
I have now placed updated versions of MC etc in my mods folder and hope to remedy the sneaking with it somehow. I'll report any findings after I next play.
-I have also had a boarding school glitch.
I have encountered problems with 2 sims.
The first was a teen. She randomly came back from boarding school without any notices whatsoever. She could no go to normal school as according to the pannel she was still at boarding school..
I triggered her age transition and it seemed to fix any problems, but I didn't play the sim for long so don't know if she could get a job/etc.
The second was a child. I sent her off to boarding school and at first she was fine. I got the notifications like I was supposed to. Then they stopped, and after a while I realised that she shoudl have aged up by now.
It appears the sim got stuck somehow. I made the parents ring up to have her quit boarding school, and her icon turned bright green again, but she never turned up. Her icon was also unclickable.
;)
EDIT:
I also have the clock-stopping glitch. It stops randomly, first at something like 5:59am. It doesn't bother me too much - I'm still playing the save with the stuck clock and it doesn't seem to matter to me. (I use clubs, job hours etc to work out what the time is)
Also the save I am playing is not new, it was from before Generations. Don't know if that might be a factor.
