I wasn't able to play my exisiting game for long, but I noticed several new bugs that I hope get fixed when I start a new game. Here's the list I took:
Pre-existing Game Bugs (Started on Base v.1.22 thru OLS 7.0; currently Base v.1.22 Thru OLS 7.3.2)
- Stereo Moodlet Reset Bug: If the stereo was left on and is playing the Sims' favorite genre of music when you load your saved game, it won't give you the +30 (I thought it was +40, but eh) bonus for playing music. It will default to the +20 until you turn off the stereo and then turn it back on. Simply leaving the room and then coming back won't fix the problem.
- Sims are getting kicked out of rabbit holes if they chose the interaction from the Map View. Can be worked around by zooming into the lot and clicking the building itself rather than the Map View icon. So far, Grocery Store, Book Store, and Movie Theater have all had this happen. Have not checked Spa, Hospital, either Diners, Stadium, etc.
- Finally caught the "always cheering" bug. Also has the "Foriegners won't stop singing" bug now when I did not before.
- The Paparazzi are following me home! AND THEY JUST WON'T GO AWAY NOW!! Before, they wouldn't stalk my Sims. They would just show up. Now they've turned stalker-ish. I noticed that once they catch sight of your celebrity Sim, they will follow you EVERYWHERE... even into the bathroom if they are the same gender as your Sim (which happened twice to me on a community lot).
- Group Outings/Dates can no longer "lot hop." The moment you try to go anywhere with the group/your date other than the lot you met up at, everyone leaves. This includes meeting up at a Sims' home and then choosing to go to a public lot.
- HELS Aquarium needs daily cleaning now. It used to not need cleaning for anywhere between 3 to 5 days depending on the fish.
Like I said, this is with my EXISITING game that I've been using since the start of this thread. I'll be starting a new game tomorrow to see if these bugs are still around or not.
