An update on the missing book problem. Keep in mind, I have books on my bookshelves in houses did NOT come with Generations. I was back in the Kid Tested Mother Approved house (or whatever it's called, something like that). I removed one of the empty bookshelves, in this case the Sweet Treasures Bookshelf and replaced it with the same bookshelf since I like the way it looks. It had books, my Sim read one and only one. The next Sim day (which was when I noticed it), the bookshelf was once again empty of books.
