Ghosts not showing up in Ghost Hunter career

Hey, I have a sim who's a ghost hunter, but after he scans for ghosts and finds them, they are not visible. If he is called to an "Angry Ghost Invasion" the opportunity simply disappears after I tell him to take it. My game is up do date, and in addition to Ambitions I have High-End Loft Stuff.
