Having so many problems with Island Paradise! Help!

So I have no mods one. NONE. Nada. Zero. And I am having problems snorkeling, every time I tell my sim to go snorkel she gets into the water and then a little bubble with an a red cross through it appears above her head and she gets out of the water. Kind of like like when the sims can't move to a certain area cause something is blocking their path. I have tried snorkeling in tons of different places too and I just don't know what to do. Also I'm guessing you can only learn Scuba diving after you learn snorkeling?

And with resorts, it keeps saying my sim wants to upgrade a bungalow or whatever those things are called but there is no upgrade option, I tried to remove them and add one of the bigger bungalow things but the wish is still there.

Did a guide come out for this pack yet? I NEED HELP! And there are no lessons.
