12 years agoHelp Transferring Games to New Computer
About a year ago I purchased sims 3 supernatural and seasons and installed them on my laptop. However, recently during a move one disc was lost and the other damaged to the point of the computer no longer being able to read it. I would like to install both expansions on a new computer without needing the discs. Is there a way to do this? And if so, very specific instructions would be greatly appreciated 🙂
I purchased both games as physical discs in two different stores (not through origin). I have them registered to the sims 3 website (to redeem the extra content), but I don't know about the origin client as I have never used it. Also I am using a mac.
Thanks!

All you have to do is, install Origin (http://www.origin.com/download) and then click on Install for Game in your "My Games" list in Origin. It's really that simple
There is no need to redeem your product code again (and as you've seen it's not possible since the code is already tied to your Origin account).
Alternatively, if you've copied the whole game folder to your new computer, open Origin and hit Repair Install for Battlefield 3 (available via a right-click on game l). It should detect all the files instead of downloading them again.
Please let us know if you have further questions. Thanks.
