hidden springs not working

hello, 

i recently bought the hidden spring stuff from the EA store, however when i open Sims into the selecting household the hidden spring city is still locked behind the 2000 sim currency paywall. i have tried repairing game, aplying the game code into the official sim website and deleting the email.bin from the sims folder, non of which have worked.
