I have tried to click that and follow the FAQ on how to contact EA/Origin directly.

However it does not appear that EA/Origin have contact us via email or phone anymore.

I desperately need someone from EA/Origin to email me because I would like my old account details back.

I had that problem as well; I can't seem to get direct contact even when following all the FAQ's.  The options that they say should be there to click on for direct contact just aren't!
