How can I install The Sims3 from disc WITHOUT using Origin?

I am having trouble with Origin.  How can I install right from disc (with my product code)?  This is SO frustrating!!  And, I cant seem to get ANY tech support by phone.  Even more frustrating!!

The same thing is happening to me. This is really frustrating and everything posted DOES NOT WORK. There is no way around Origin

I have the same problem. I go to download it and it doesn't recognize that I have Sims 3... and I don't use Steam or HAVE Origin. I just get an error message to download Sims 3.
