How can I re-instate MSVCP120.dll as without it my Sims 3 will not work
I have an error message that tells me the The program cant start because MSVCP120.dll is missing from your comouter. How do I re-install the program

Thanks for the info but it is for The Sims 3 not for Sims 4.

@shazic60 The same steps in that article should still work for Sims 3.
Basically you need to download/install Visual C++ Redistributable Package for Visual Studio 2013. You might also want to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64 / x86)

When I install it gives me the option to run and then it takes me to a screen that says repair- if I do this it gives me a message that says the disk is not installed.
My Sims 3 is downloaded not on disk.
