How can you play sims 3 without having to insert the disk.
My daughter has the sims 3 with a few expansion packs on disk.
She has played these on my computer, and having to insert the latest disk to play the game has not been an issue.
She now has her own macbook without the intergrated cd drive, and although we have an external drive, and have put her game and expansion packs on with no problem, we realise it will be a pain to have to travel with the external drive just to play the game.
So, how can she play the game, that she has bought on disk without having to use the disk for authentication.
If downloading a later expansion pack is one way, i would be willing to do this, but would prefer not to have to.
