How do I contact EA's tech support?

I tried several options for what the problem was intially and still kept getting only Live Chat. Changing other options such as the game and platform type if available does give other options, but nothing I tried ever game me the option for email which is what I want.
I really don't know.
I hope one of the community manager here sees this cause I think they are the only ones that can answer this for us.
With Live Chat as the only option for many of the issues people want to contact support about, the recent security problems with Java make contacting even Live Chat impossible. Neither IE nor Firefox will start the javascript applet, so with Live Chat being the ONLY official support option I can't get any assistance with a problem.

maybe go to java.com see if there are updates for your java ?

Hey fury, glad to see you have the same questions. I have managed to find a phone number which should work: (866) 543-5435, but I, too, am really looking for an email. I'd like to send a detailed message of exactly how to recreate the problems I'm experiencing, so hopefully they will finally be fixed!
