@Blackredminty Please list the mods you use. Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

In the future, please don't link other people's videos to show me something; it's not particularly helpful if it's not your game. The video is also age-restricted, and not all of us want to have to sign into YouTube just to watch.
i hope i did it right the program seemed to change from that help post

@Blackredminty Sorry, I didn't think that was your video since you said you were playing in France and the video is set in China. It's still hard to watch though, especially with the voiceover; a shorter video with no commentary or (even better) a simple description of the problem is much easier to process.
Please try adding NRaas ErrorTrap, Overwatch, and Traveler to the mix, and let me know whether it helps. Delete the five cache files in your user folder as well:
- CASPartCache.package
- compositorCache.package
- scriptCache.package
- simCompositorCache.package
- socialCache.package
Your dxdiag lists a bunch of network errors and a couple from Sims 4, but none from Sims 3. So if the above doesn't help, please look for related errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes. You'll see a list of errors and updates, with a column for each day. (Today is all the way on the right.)
For any errors that mention Origin or Sims 3 from after you add the other mods, click "View technical details," then copy the information and paste it into a reply here. Sometimes the Reliability Monitor doesn't update right away, so if you don't see any related errors, be sure to check back an hour or two. The timestamp on the initial chart can also be off by up to an hour, so that's not an entirely reliable metric, but the one within the technical details should be accurate.

i tried to download the mods and they didn't show up on the main menu of the sims 3 and i tried the other command with windows and it didn't work it didn't find it
- puzzlezaddict4 years agoHero+
@Blackredminty When you download the mods, you need to unzip them, which you can do by right-clicking and selecting Extract. Place the unzipped files, which will now end in .package, in ... The Sims 3 > Mods > Packages, and delete scriptCache.package in the Sims 3 folder.

- Blackredminty4 years agoNew Scout
it seems as tho i did open it up
- puzzlezaddict4 years agoHero+
@Blackredminty Are the mods working now? Does the travel transition work? Let me know either way.
- Blackredminty4 years agoNew Scout
idk if its gonna work since it didn't show up on the main menu with mastercontroller and the posepack
- puzzlezaddict4 years agoHero+
@Blackredminty If the mods aren't listed at the Main Menu, they're not loading. Please post a screenshot of the folder where you've added these mods. Include the address bar, above the list of files and folders, in the screenshot.
- Blackredminty4 years agoNew Scout
i hope it'll send this way
- puzzlezaddict4 years agoHero+
@Blackredminty The new NRaas mods are directly in Mods, when they need to be in the Packages folder inside Mods. Once you move them, be sure to delete scriptCache.package again as well.
By the way, that goes for all your other files in Mods as well, or in the second Mods folder inside the first one. If the files aren't in Packages, or in Overrides if it's necessary to use that folder (it almost never is), the game won't read them.

i tried it with those mods and its still freezing
- puzzlezaddict4 years agoHero+
@Blackredminty Does the same freeze happen in a new save? Please try one for comparison.
Please also let me know whether you've set NRaas StoryProgression to run in the vacation worlds in your existing save. You can check by clicking on the base camp map tag and selecting NRaas > StoryProgression > General Options; let me know whether Enable Progression is set to True or False.

i do have it on maybe i should turn it off for that lets play i'll try another save sometime
- Blackredminty4 years agoNew Scout
the freezing doesn't happen in into the future and shes went into another world
- puzzlezaddict4 years agoHero+
@Blackredminty When StoryProgression first runs in a new world, or it runs in a world that hasn't been simulated in a while and where there may be many new residents to manage, it initially has a lot of work to do, perhaps enough to cause a freeze. The only way to test would be to disable SP in that world, at least initially, and see whether your game still freezes.
- Blackredminty4 years agoNew Scout
ok i'll try that ty have to see when i have time to test it
- Blackredminty4 years agoNew Scout
it still freezes with story progression off
- puzzlezaddict4 years agoHero+
@Blackredminty Does this happen if you play without any other applications running? Please try restarting your computer and opening only Origin and Sims 3, nothing else.
If you get the same freeze, please start a new save and see whether a new sim can travel without the game freezing.
- Blackredminty4 years agoNew Scout
ty i'll try that
- Blackredminty4 years agoNew Scout
i only had the sims 3 open and the freezing still happened
- puzzlezaddict4 years agoHero+
@Blackredminty Is that in a new save, or in your existing one? Please test a new save if you haven't already, just for comparison's sake.
- Blackredminty4 years agoNew Scout
ok i'll try that sometime i know its fine in china because in my generations lets play it was but i can try another save file
